Jul 5, 2023 - MAJOR RELEASE - Not 1 but 2 Major New Features
Today is a very excited day at BionicWP. We have not 1 but 2 major features that got released over the last 7 days. These two features have been something we have wanted for awhile but had other items that needed to be addressed. Now they are finally here!
- Edge Caching - Edge caching is a method of storing website data closer to users, reducing latency and network traffic. It's crucial for faster content delivery and improved user experience, particularly for geographically dispersed users. Edge Caching provides performance improvements, especially in terms of your siteβs Time to First Byte (TTFB), by serving page cache directly from the closest server available to a siteβs visitors. This cache is served from our four origin datacenters, and over 24 edge datacenters, giving sites a total of 28 Point of Presence (PoP) locations that are continuously expanding. You can read more about it here: https://www.bionicwp.com/knowledge-base/what-is-edge-cache/
- Activity Logs - This features tracks the activity on your Wordpress site. This is something that helps troubleshoot issues/changes on your site when you are wondering why things changed. You can read more about this here: https://www.bionicwp.com/blog/introducing-activity-logs-unveiling-a-new-dashboard-feature-for-enhanced-wordpress-management/
As always, any questions about either feature please let us know!
